Tesla Will Develop Its Own Recruitment Software, In Order To Reduce Recruitment Costs

According to the latest news, Tesla may develop recruitment software to reduce its reliance on external suppliers in order to reduce related recruitment and talent costs. It is worth noting that last year, Tesla increased its workforce by 28,533, bringing the total number of employees to 99,290. Data from Tesla shows that Tesla received more than 3 million job applications in 2021, reaching an all-time high. Currently, the size of Tesla's global workforce is nearly 100,000 employees.

It is worth mentioning that previously, in late June, Tesla CEO Musk said that in the next three months, Tesla will lay off 10% of its full-time employees, while increasing the number of part-time hourly employees, the overall number of employees will be reduced by 3%-3.5%. But Musk also said he thinks Tesla will have more employees in a year.
